A comedian must understand line length and why it plays a critical role in writing or developing tight and well structured stand-up comedy material.
Let me start off by saying this…
A line that is written to be “read” is not the same as a spoken word line. A line that is written in standard “writing” format is read from the beginning of a sentence to the punctuation at the end of the sentence.
