Below is a fantastic comment and real opportunity for me to educate comedians and audience members alike about the simple, yet largely hidden dynamics of stand-up comedy.
I’m talking about secrets that even seasoned comedy professionals don’t know when it comes the relationship between stand-up comedy, television and how ”funny” is actually determined–from an audience reaction stand point and from the comedian perspective.
You won’t find the secrets I’m about to share with you in any government study, university curriculum or in the Killer Stand-up Comedy System.

In my opinion, there is only one objective way to determine who the funniest comedian in the world may be, and that is…
By using the Comedy Evaluator Pro software and determining which comedian can produce the highest PAR Score over a sustained period of time.
Please review this article before passing judgement on the information and assessment provided below regarding who the world’s funniest comedian is and how that determination was made.

During the filming of the new stand-up comedy documentary I Am Comic (directed by Jordan Brady), I was asked to evaluate several comedians using my Comedy Evaluator Pro Software—the only comedian that I didn’t recognize was comedian Nikki Glaser.
As I have mentioned before, I didn’t have any input on which stand-up comedy video clips were selected and made available for evaluation.
I was simply shown video clips to evaluate of various comedians at different levels of comedy “stardom” including Tommy Davidson (who I met on the set), Jeff Foxworthy, Todd Glass, Ritch Shydner and Nikki Glaser.

Since my patent-pending Comedy Evaluator Pro software was launched in 2003, I have had a number of critics over the years verbalize their disdain about my software (some rather caustically I might add) and comment on how measuring audience response (i.e. laughter generation ability) is not a valid or acceptable means of evaluating a comedian.
I have to say that I find those sorts of comments completely laughable and I rate them highly among the most ridiculous conspiracy theories.
But I also know that once the stand-up comedy documentary I Am Comic is finally released for public consumption, the number of critics with the same sorts of nescient comments will increase dramatically.

It is just a fact of life that no matter how much skill, expertise or fame you may develop as a stand-up comedian, you will never be exempt from the possibility of bombing on stage.
Bombing on stage happens on occasion to the best entertainers. It happens with increased frequency to those entertainers who don’t fall into the “best” category.
The reality is this — while sometimes there are environmental or audience conditions that can contribute to a less-than-stellar performance (i.e. microphone failure), most bombing on stage is self-inflicted and can be completely avoided most of the time.
